El 27 de Mayo se va a editar "Lay It Down", el nuevo álbum del reverendo Al Green. Este es su tercer disco desde que en el 2003 volvió a la actividad con el estupendo "I Can't Stop" (también es muy recomendable "Everything's OK" del 2005), y en el mismo participan músicos de la talla de John Legend, Corinne Bailey Rae y Anthony Hamilton. Otros invitados son: Dap-King Horns (la banda de Amy Winehouse), el guitarrista Chalmers “Spanky” Alford (Joss Stone) y el bajista Adam Blackstone (Jill Scott). El álbum esta producido por Al Green junto a Ahmir “?uestlove” Thomson (The Roots) y James Poyser (Erykah Badu, Common).Lo realmente importante, más allá de la fría enumeración de nombres, es que el disco es excelente.
